HYPERION was my first hack and a labour of love that I dedicated to my friends in the SMW community.

(The title comes from a Keats poem because I'm that person and not the book series.)

It is a Kaizo hack with a bunch of custom graphics and music, extra and modified sprites and palettes. There is a focus on platforming rather than trick-heavy setups or item abuse as to make it a more approachable hack for beginner-intermediate players.

The overworld paths are branching with not all of the secret exits and switch palaces being necessary to complete the game. There are also a handful of secrets and easter eggs throughout the game.

Originally I released it in 2020, but I made an update in 2022 to fix my newbie mistakes and polish up the game overall.
